These 12″ works were produced when I was a member of The Loose Threads, a group of eight Christchurch women with a common interest in modern/art quilting. This was our first challenge. Each member selected a word and, without revealing it, passed it on to the challenge coordinator. We received a new word every two months and produced a piece inspired by that word.
